This photo essay documents a story about 2 teenage girls filled with teenage angst and sadness but eventually get through it all. For years, I kept going back to this photo essay to keep working on it, to refine it and make it better because I felt something was missing.

4 years after I shot this in 2012, I feel that I’ve managed to complete this project and tell this story how I've always wanted to. This updated version was heavily inspired by Sarah Bahbah.
